Bill Murray has been found: 'St. Vincent' is coming to the Toronto Film Festival

Bill Murray has been found: 'St. Vincent' is coming to the Toronto Film Festival

Should we take this as a good sign?

There was buzz late last month that both the Toronto International Film Festival and The Weinstein Company wanted to bring "St. Vincent," which stars Bill Murray, to the 2014 edition of the annual awards season kickoff. The problem was, reportedly, that no one could find him. Murray supposedly doesn't have a cell phone (or perhaps even E-mail?), but even though he continues to crash one party after another it looks like somebody tracked him down as TIFF announced today that "St. Vincent" is now a late addition to the festival.

Paul Rudd gets moody in San Francisco for first 'Ant-Man' photo

So does this mean everything's fine now?

Oh, look, it's Ant-Man.

Actually, more accurately, it's Scott Lang, and it's a lovely foggy San Francisco day, and it's the first picture to prove that, yes, they are indeed in production now on Marvel's "Ant-Man," with Peyton Reed now directing.

I didn't realize San Francisco was the setting of the film, or any part of the film. I knew they were gearing up to shoot in Atlanta, so I guess I assumed that's where the film was set, or that they were using Atlanta to double for somewhere else. Right now, though, the production is here in California, making effective moody use of the Bay Area, and I like that first still.

NFL wants Super Bowl Halftime performers to pay to play

NFL wants Super Bowl Halftime performers to pay to play
The Wall Street Journal has asked Rihanna, Katy Perry and Coldplay — finalists for the 2015 Super Bowl — to pay to play. Reports the Journal: "While notifying the artists' camps of their candidacy, league representatives also asked at least some of the acts if they would be willing to contribute a portion of their post-Super Bowl tour income to the league, or if they would make some other type of financial contribution, in exchange for the halftime gig. The pay-to-play suggestion got a chilly reception from the candidates' representatives, these people said."

Emmy Predictions 2014: Outstanding comedy/drama supporting actor

Will Emmy favorite Andre Braugher dethrone Tony Hale? Will Aaron Paul be part of a 'Breaking Bad' sweep?

Because it's NBC's turn to air the Primetime Emmy Awards this year, and because the Peacock would understandably rather air its lucrative Sunday night NFL package in September, the ceremony will take place in late August again. And as an added wrinkle, this year's ceremony will actually happen on a Monday, August 25 at 8 p.m., with Seth Meyers hosting.

TV Ratings: 'American Ninja Warrior,' 'MasterChef,' 'Under the Dome' lead Monday

The CW had its best Monday since 2011

Fast National ratings for Monday, August 18, 2014.

As usual, "American Ninja Warrior," "MasterChef" and "Under the Dome" were among the Monday night standouts, as NBC, CBS and FOX were all able to claim little bits and pieces of primetime victory.

Meanwhile, the season premiere of "America's Next Top Model" wasn't especially high, but it combined with a pair of strong "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" episodes to help The CW to its best Monday overall since December 2011. This is reflective mostly on what The CW has programmed on Mondays over the years, but so it goes.

When it comes to Monday notables, "Running Wild," "American Ninja Warrior" and "Mistresses" were all down a little, while "MasterChef" and "Hotel Hell" both rose a hair.

On to the numbers...
